York Gate Train Station

Job: York Gate Train

Contractor: Graham Construction

Contract Value: £250,000

Graham Construction awarded Raptic the concrete package on the exciting regeneration project that will see a £10million investment by the Department for Infrastructure in the redevelopment and transformation of the current train station facilities at Yorkgate Train Station Belfast. This job is currently under construction and is now nearing completion. The works include long spans of retaining walls holding up the bank on which the train tracks reside. Although the main building will have a metal frame we produced the substructure, a central 3 level lift shaft and will pour screed to floor level on each floor all while the current station remains in use.

For this job we used Acrow Formwork wall panels to form the 600mm deep substructures, lift core and walls.
