This project was awarded to us by McAleer & Rushe and will see 271 individual self-contained studio apartments spread across a 15-storey student tower block just off Belfast’s Great Victoria Street.

With a tight timescale for a building of this size and complexity, a completion date is aimed for the September 2023 academic year.

The building will have a five storey podium base, upon which a narrower ten storey element is set back above.

Our works on site started in April 2022 and concluded in April 2023. For this project we used Acrow Formwork wall panels to form the lift core and columns and Acrow Alu Deck decking system for the upper slabs. Our internal and external platforms (a mixture of Ulma CR250 and Doka Folding K&B allow the lift core to always be at least 1 floor ahead of the main deck.
